Description:
A lovely two bedroom/one bath home with a beautiful deck and screened porch.  The house is just 25 feet from the ocean.  

This house sleeps 4 and is enveloped on the sides and back with trees.  The secluded location is on a private road which extends more than a half mile from the town road.  Yet, it is only 5 minutes to the Monhegan Island Passenger Ferry and Mail boat in Port Clye, 45 minutes to Boothbay Harbor, 30 minutes to beautiful Camden, and 20 minutes to summer festivals in Rockland.  From the deck you watch lobster boats and all kinds of sail boats, gorgeous sunsets, and when the water is still, a frequent friend, a Great Blue Heron commands the waterfront.  In the morning, over coffee on the porch, you may see an osprey in the 100 foot high nest next door.  More than a few of our guests have spotted a bald eagle.

HUNTER SPRUCE CAMPS
$1175/week + $100 cleaning fee

Description:
You get two cabins for the price of one with this deal!  There are two camps, side by side, just 20 feet from the open ocean/beach.  These camps rent together as one package, great for families or friends.

The larger camp, Hunter Camp (shown in the large picture above), has three bedrooms/one and a half baths, a large kitchen with a hardwood floor, and a fireplace.  This house sleeps 5 but has a pull out futon in the livingroom that pulls out to a bed as well.  Next door is the Spruce Camp, with two bedrooms/one bath and this sleeps 5.  This camp has an enclosed porch to sit and look out at the ocean.  It also has a newly partially revamped bathroom!

We've made some recent upgrades to these properties, so come see these fun camps for a wonderful vacation!

Both camps are VERY rustic, but comfortable and fun. Dogs are allowed with prior approval from our agency but must be leashed at all times, if approved.

These camps are not insulated so in the large camp you have a fireplace and the small camp there is a small propane rinnai heater that can be used if need be.

LEE COTTAGE

Description:
This chalet style cottage is situated on a large secluded lot, along a quiet lane in Spruce Head on the St. George Penninsula.  The cottage has a large yard which borders a rocky shoreline and tranquil cove, with views of Rackliff Island and the ocean.  

There are three bedrooms/2 baths, a beautiful modern kitchen, a livingroom that includes a sleep sofa and a magnificant stone fireplace (for decoration only), a diningroom that has seating capacity for six, with water views and a partial wrap around deck to enjoy the nice Maine weather!  

The master bedroom located on the first floor is very spacious with a king size bed.  Off the bedroom is a handicap accessible bathroom with a roll in shower.  The floor and vanity have recently been upgraded.  The second and third bedrooms are on the second floor, with 6 twin beds, along with a newer full bathroom.



Any bookings that are made between now & June 1st for 2021 will receive a $25 gift card to a local restaurant of your choice upon your arrival!!!  
THE LAKE HOUSE
$3150/week + $150 cleaning fee

Description:
This spacious, bright and sunny home is perfect for a large family, a wedding group flow over, or even multiple families!  It's located in Warren which is only 15-20 minutes from Rockland or Camden/Rockport.  Secluded from the road it sits down in a bit down a long paved driveway facing North Pond where you can enjoy canoeing or swimming off the dock.

This house has 3 fully functional floors.  The main level has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.  The master bedroom is situated with a queen size bed with an attached bathroom that has a shower stall as well as a relaxing deep tub to soak in after a long day and the other bedroom sleeps 2 with a double bed.  There is a large kitchen and a diningroom that sits 10 as well as a livingroom that includes a large screen TV and 2 couches with a small table that will sit 4; as well as a laundry room that includes a washer/dryer.  This level has a large deck facing the lakes view where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets!

On the lower level of the house there are 2 bedrooms with double beds, a livingroom with a large wrap around couch and a large screen curved TV, a diningroom, a bathroom, and a small kitchenette.  The best part is there is also a large space that has a pool table!  This level also has it's own access to a ground level deck that takes you out to the lawn where you can sit at the patio set and enjoy the views or you can walk down to the lake for a swim.

On the top level there is still plenty of space to enjoy.  Part of this level is carpeted but don't let the other part of this floor fool you.  Even though there is no laid flooring, there is plenty of sleeping and play space.  There is a cat walk bridge that takes you to a small quiet sitting space where you can sit on the couch and read an abundance of books at your leisure or your kiddos can play board games!  Down the hall upstairs there is a bedroom that has a double bed and 3 bedrooms that each hold 2 twin beds each!  There is a bathroom with a shower stall as well as a nice big game room that has a ping pong table!

Down at the waters edge, there is a Gazebo and a set of stairs that takes you down to the dock for swimming or even to go out and go fishing where you can catch some great fish!

Off the main level of the house there is also a unique area where there are 2 indoor kennels that each have a doggy door that your pooch can come and go and remain either in outdoor kennels or run around in a fenced in area that is roughly an acre big and which holds an abundance of blueberry bushes if you come at the right time of year!

And if you don't have enough space is that fenced in area, you can go out through the backside of the fence and play a game of baseball in a large mowed field.

This house gives you so much potential for a great vacation stay!

CHECK OUT INSTRUCTIONS:

The home that you have reserved will be stocked with a 'starter' supply of products including 2 rolls of toilet paper  per bathroom and 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen.  All of our rentals include linens and towels. When you arrive, the beds will be ready and made for your arrival with fresh, clean linens except the following: trundles, futons, sofa sleepers, and cots (although linens for these can be supplied upon request from you at least one week before your arrival).  Each bed has a set of sheets with a blanket or comforter and usually even with a spare blanket per bed.  If you require more blankets or towels, there will be a minimum charge of $25 for Water's Edge Rentals to bring you more.

Despite that you may have paid a cleaning fee depending on the property you have chosen to rent, Guests are, at a minimum, asked to complete the following at check-out which is always by 10am on the day of departure:
•Return furniture and electronics to original locations and operating conditions.
•Wash all dishes and/or start the dishwasher.
•Remove all food and trash from the home. Place trash in sealed plastic bags in proper receptacle(s).
•Appliances, counters and other surfaces wiped clean.
•Carpets and floors are to be broom cleaned of excessive debris.
•Leave the property generally as it was found.
•Call us if you are going to check out earlier than 10 a.m. so that our cleaning staff can arrive early if available.

Some Guests may chose to disregard this request if they are in a rush to depart. However, we must have prior notice if that will be the case. In that event, our cleaning staff will complete the above checklist on the Guest's behalf at a rate of $35 per hour plus a 9% Maine State Sales Tax. This will be deducted from the cleaning deposit if that was required, or deducted from the $250.00 security deposit. 

You may be charged up to $250.00 additional in the event of a violation of our "no smoking", "no pet", or if we find neglectful damages which occurred during the tenancy. Additional housekeeping charges will be applied in the event for the need of extra cleaning by our staff. We charge $35 per hour for additional cleaning above and beyond normal expected cleaning times for excessive dirt, messes, etc. We supply a departure procedure checklist in each home; these rules must be followed to avoid any additional charges. It's rare that we implement this and we hate to do it. Please treat the homes or cottages as if they belonged to you and you'll have no troubles.

Our staff will arrive after your departure to thoroughly clean and inspect the Property. They have very little time to complete the 'turnover' - so your assistance in attending the above tasks is critical to their success and meeting the exceptions of the next arriving vacationing Tenants at 3pm the same day, just like the person did before you arrived.

While we do not require you to do your own laundry/linens, it's always appreciated when even 1 load is started in the washing machine at a property that includes such!

KEYS:
One key is located at each property in a lock-box attached to the outside of the home near the entry door. We will provide you with the one time code before you arrive. The code will work for the duration of your stay and then be changed by our cleaning staff upon your departure.

We suggest that you return the key to the lock box for use during your stay.  This way no tenant ends up locking themselves out.  This is especially true when there are multiple tenants in your party coming and going.  Again, we issue one key per property.  Also, in the case that you should call that there is a problem in the property and we need to send a contractor out, he/she has a way to get in the property should you be out adventuring to all the fun places in the area.

For check out, please return this key to lockbox. The charge for a lost key is the cost for us to make copies and bring a replacement key to provide to the next arriving tenant at the property.  This charge is $50 as it takes time for our cleaner to drive back to our office to obtain an additional key and than go back to the property.
